Structural Description

The suction and discharge ports of the S and SH type pumps are both located below the pump shaft centerline in a horizontal direction, perpendicular to the axis. The pump cover is fixed to the pump body using double-headed bolts and conical locating screws, allowing for easy opening to inspect all parts inside the pump without removing the inlet and outlet pipes or the motor. Therefore, maintenance is extremely convenient. Viewed from the direction of rotation, SH type pumps rotate counterclockwise; S type pumps rotate clockwise.

The main parts of the S and SH type pumps are: pump body (1), pump cover (2), impeller (3), shaft (4), double suction sealing ring (5), shaft sleeve (6), bearing housing (14).

Pump body (1): Made of cast iron. Forms the impeller chamber together with the pump cover. The flanges of the inlet and outlet flow passages have pipe screw holes for installing vacuum and pressure gauges. A pipe screw hole for draining is located at the lowest point of the neck.
Pump cover (2): Made of cast iron. The upper part has pipe screw holes for installing the water seal pipe and vent pipe, and a hook for lifting the pump cover.
Impeller (3): Made of cast iron, with a symmetrical shape and twisted blades between the two walls. The liquid enters the impeller from both sides. It undergoes static balance testing during manufacturing.
Shaft (4): Made of high-quality carbon steel. The impeller is located in the center of the shaft and is fixed using a key, shaft sleeve, and shaft sleeve nuts on both sides. The right end of the shaft is for installing the coupling, and is connected to...
